In honor of our 6th birthday coming up on March 5, we’re excited to host a fun, fast-paced, game-show-style spelling bee where teamwork matters, quick thinking wins, and chaos is part of the fun — all in celebration of another incredible year of community, creativity, and connection! This is a pay-what-you-can celebration: we want everyone to be able to attend, so give what you’re able. If you’re unable to join us in person but would still like to contribute in honor of The Congregation’s birthday, donations are always appreciated and help us continue creating space for community.
Grab two friends (3 people per team) or form a team when you arrive and take your shot at spelling glory! Hosted by your Queen Bees, Shima and Mike, three teams will be randomly selected each round to hit the stage and compete in a series of hilarious and unpredictable challenges. Spectating is welcome and audience participation is encouraged.
Submit difficult words for teams to tackle, shout out suggestions during interactive prompts, or sit back and enjoy the hilarious, unscripted chaos as it unfolds live.
The winning team will be crowned our very first Spelling Hive Masters, earn ultimate bragging rights, and take home an amazing prize.
