Join us this summer for our Live Music Series out in the greenspace! It doesn’t get much better than relaxing outside with a good drink, a sunset, and live music. From 7-8:30 every other Thursday (see specific dates below), and weather permitting, we’re excited to host a rotating lineup of amazing musicians for Summer 2026.
Here’s who’s up for June:
Sophiyah E. on June 4th – Detroit native Sophiyah Elizabeth is a sound practitioner + cultural conduit with a mission to cultivate collective wellness, radical care, liberation and spiritual reverence. Through education, community organization, and music production, her practice deepens connections for legacy building, intergenerational well being and accessible health-conscious resources for wellness. With over 10 years of experience, Sophiyah utilizes music (theory), occupational therapy, and somatic practice to form a holistic wellness resource that focuses on Frequency & Vibration practices while also partnering with practitioners and organizations for community care.
LuFuki: Truth on June 18th – LuFuki Ismaeel Dhul-Qarnayn is a composer, cultural curator, historian, and guitarist in Detroit whose work centers around Black ancestral legacy. He utilizes the sound sciences and imagination to pose the bigger questions about life, inviting listeners to ponder the meaning of existence. Through his musical productions and curation, LuFuki unearths and crafts untold stories and legacies that are meant to catalyze motivation, enlightenment, and inspire social change and advocacy.
