While we tend to write our Spotlight articles for new and exciting things happening at The Congregation, it is also important for us to celebrate the regularly scheduled events that we are proud to offer! One of these events is our Mental Health Workshops. Did you know that every Sunday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm we host Laura Howard, an incredible Behavioral Health Coordinator, to lead folks in a free mental health conversation? Everyone is welcome to attend, and no pre-registration is necessary. Those two hours are carved out to give participants a space to bring their burdens, share in an intimate setting with their community, and be led by a mental health professional. You can come to listen or speak freely; there is no expectation to share anything you’re not comfortable with. Depending on group sizes, Laura will rotate topics to help facilitate conversations or will follow the flow of the group that day. Every first and third Sunday of the month these talks will be held in our Fellowship Hall space, and every second Sunday you can find the group at a table in the main cafe.
