If you’re looking for plans this Saturday, why not swing by for the 6th annual CREATE Fest happening right here in our greenspace? Our amazing art curator, Dr. Chanel Beebe, is the host of this annual outdoor celebration of the artists, makers, and small-business owners who make Detroit’s creative community what it is.
Come celebrate community, creativity, and connection and meet us tomorrow, 8/15, from 2-6pm for a full afternoon of art, music, vendors, and community resources for all ages. Rooted in Dr. Beebe’s curatorial work at The Congregation, CREATE Fest connects people with the creators in their own city and gives makers a platform to share what they have been building. You’ll be able to shop, get to know local artists (including ones who’ve been featuring in The Congregation’s gallery!), and enjoy a Saturday afternoon outside.
This is a free, family-friendly event open to everyone. Learn more about Dr. Beebe’s work here!
